02 — SOLAR ENERGY

TAMS Solar Car Team

Electrical Lead for the first-year high school solar car team.

Overview

Helped start and organize a nonprofit-led solar car team at TAMS, developing a golf-cart style solar car with a 48V electrical system. The frame is made out of aluminum and follows industry safety standards

My Contribution

I designed and built the entire electrical system, communicating with manufacturers and professionals. The electrical system is controlled by a 12V system and the drive power comes from a 48V battery pack.
